Welcome to my ladders and snakes

My business cards are about to run out and I have products to sell so it's time to build my website causing ladders and snakes in my brain as I make decisions and try to optimise my SEO. I will eventually be adding papal to payment options as well as additional products to the shop

In m shop you have an opportunity to buy a short illustrated poetry magazine/book. It is a collaboration between myself and local poet David Gardner - a preview of the drawings and poem concept for a planned book called:

“Bramble Junction, Nettle Station and the Blackberry Express”

David Gardner says:

“Following family ancestry research at Newburn and Blaydon libraries I found a copy of the railway engineer Oswald Gardner lament epitaph (see opposite) and discovered the gravestone in St Marys church Whickham with the inscription and story of his accident on the Newcastle to Carlisle track in August 1840.

The old disused railway line on the north bank of the Tyne forms part of the Hadrian Way up to Wylam and is popular with local walkers and cyclists as well as visitors completing the coast to coast route.

Blackberry plants are a ubiquitous sight through out the seasons and are a sign of nature reclaiming an old industrial thoroughfare.

Hence the inspiration for this collection of poems and drawings focused on a small part of the Tyne valley”
